Fashionable Bride in Full Bloom During Spring
Spring has a way to appear suddenly. Out of the winter blue, a small brave bloom breaks the endless white and soon it’s millions of pale pink flowers everywhere. The almond trees blossom all of a sudden making the air filled with promises. Blossom by blossom the spring begins. Vicky from Vicky Galata Weddings conceptualized a romantic and Fine Art Editorial concept, focusing on details that would stand out creatively. The focus point? Almond trees; the essence of the spring spirit. The pastel pink blooms are such romantic, unique flowers that blossom on the edge of winter and only for as long as it takes to make an impression. There is not a clearer sign that spring approaches other than these flowers.
The color palette had to be minimal and romantic, there’s no fuss at the beginning of spring. Most of all it had to be soft and delicate like the almond blossoms. Natural shades such as beige, ecru, and white were the main colors we used, with beautiful light pink, gray and green details. In addition to the almond flowers, we wanted to give this editorial a Parisian flair with the furniture selection and the luxurious golden details – a signature style of Vicky.
The flower juxtaposition – proof that Maria from Fillo Flower Design is a true artist – was is every sense magical. The flower canopy with the almond flowers and the anemones was minimal in its colors yet refined in its textures, creating the perfect balance and a fairytale atmosphere. However, the true stunner was
the flower-adorned bridal umbrella, a nod to the modern design and thinking out of the box aesthetics that characterize Vicky Galata Weddings. All the design had a peaceful, romantic vibe making us dream of a by-the-book spring wedding. Breathtaking, right?
This wedding inspiration was aimed at the romantic brides who imagine their wedding day as if out of a storybook. It was minimalistic in its core yet filled with ethereal details. For anyone familiar with Madebride by Antonea’s wedding dresses, that’s the core of the Atelier. Therefore, the two utterly romantic wedding dresses, one timider and more classic, one with custom-made butterfly finished gloves, were the perfect choice! The beautiful refined makeup and the soft rosy tones highlighted the complete romance of the look.
This shoot perfectly sums up the essence of Vicky Galata Weddings; refined, beautiful and unique events tailored to each couple. It is aimed at the hopeless romantic brides looking to stand out avoiding the ordinary – those who want a true and honest celebration of their love. Les Anagnou Wedding Photographers captured the setting perfectly adding their fine art touch and experience in romantic love stories. The imagery is breathtaking; the portraits are magical.
The shoot was full of beautiful details from vintage Parisian hangers and old fashioned perfume bottles, to mint tableware and calligraphy love letters. Also, Pavlov’s Lab romantic three-tiered cake with the blooming sugar paste lace was the perfect choice for the concept. Curating every miniature element was how this editorial turned out to be one of those who’ll definitely make an impression – just like the almond flowers when they blossom!
If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant. It is through the hardships of winter that we can welcome spring’s prosperity. The most important detail in this concept is how by bringing all these details together Vicky brought Spring to us all. There is one good thing about this world; spring. It always comes filled with joyous enthusiasm – much like the perfect wedding day!
